InclusiGardens

With InclusiGardens you can discover how urban gardening can contribute to sustainability, inclusion and health. How can you make your neighborhood greener and more social?

Across Europe, cities are looking for ways to combat climate change, strengthen communities and make space for nature in the city. InclusiGardens offers practical tools to build microgardens in your own environment – from balconies to community gardens.

Whether you have gardening experience or not, InclusiGardens shows how you can use technology, reuse and collaboration to contribute something to a more sustainable world. It also gives vulnerable groups access to knowledge and resources to participate. Get involved and let the city flourish together!

Green

InclusiGardens promotes eco-friendly urban micro-gardening practices in line with the European Green Deal to promote sustainability and combat climate change.

Inclusive

The project promotes inclusion by targeting marginalized and vulnerable urban residents and creating accessible opportunities for sustainable urban gardening and social participation.

Digital

InclusiGardens uses technology through a centralized digital platform with interactive tools and open resources to make sustainable urban gardening accessible to all.

International research

We collaborate with Slovenia, Croatia and the Netherlands and learn from the project partners with different backgrounds about their experiences with urban gardening. It is precisely the differences between countries that offer inspiration: how do you deal with small spaces, social inequality or drought? These insights form the basis for InclusiGardens – a practical project that connects the power of green with diversity and collaboration.

e-Toolkit

The e-Toolkit makes urban micro-gardening accessible to everyone, with practical steps, tips and videos. All will be available in multiple languages and formats. Thus, it is also usable by people with limited digital skills or Internet access.
